The project “High-purity graphite in other applications” is started in Hebei Province,China,today. Beijing Institute of Mining ,Metallurgy,South Graphite group and other 18 universities and companies which is focous on graphite researching attened this grand meeting. The aim of this project is to use high-technology to extract High-Purity graphite from abundant graphite resources in China.Increasing the values of graphite and let high-purity graphite has high performance in new applications.High-purity graphite gains a good name “black-gold”.

According to report, the project is expected to get 134 million yuan investment. Researchers will focus on 5 topics.It includes natural graphite materials environmental protection equipments, high purity flake graphite purification technology and applications, low-sulfur expanded graphites, the high thermal conductivity of flexible graphite plate preparation technology development and demonstration of new anode materials preparation technology and industrialization. 

With Innovation Research,this project will improve our graphite purification technology substantially and support China graphites becoming high performance in different applications in the future. Reported by China Daily,May 20th,2013.
